A dancing label

Turinela is a small, multi-award-winning family olive oil maker from Istria, Croatia. The label designed by Bruketa&Žinić&Grey features a simplistic, central graphic representation of an olive tree with the tree trunk in the shape of a letter T, bringing the name of this brand to mind.

The Turinela name is derived from the name of Mali Turini, an olive growing locality, which inspired the interactive label element. Namely, local legend has it that the olive canopies were a nocturnal resting place of fairies that would descend during the daytime, to do their magical dance whilst building the Pula Arena amphitheater.

Every consumer can scan the QR code on the label, using their cell phones and AR technology, to summon Turinela the Fairy to do her dance and to see her magic at work if only for a short while.
