In the ever-expanding luxury retail scene of Amsterdam, department store de Bijenkorf is a leading fixture where many a leading high-end brand has set up shop, including Louis Vuitton. The Paris-based fashion house has a sizeable presence here, but regularly seeks to raise its profile with additional pop-up stores. The very latest of ephemeral spaces has just opened and is fully dedicated to the brand’s latest men’s collection. Designed by the brand’s in-house design team, the setting is captured by a number pavilion-like structures dipped in a bright orange hue. The vertical panels are adorned by the brand’s signature Damier pattern while various musical instruments, all in a matching orange, are used as props. Most panels are anchored by a base which also holds metal shelving and clothing racks, and two low benches offer seating to shoppers. On display is Louis Vuitton‘s latest men’s collection, entitled Fall in Love, featuring men’s ready-to-wear items, bags and shoes (open through Oct 27).
