FOR ITS LATEST STORE concept in downtown Toronto, Epic Cycles (Clermont, Fla.) partnered with Figure3 (Toronto) on its design. Keeping in mind the goal of reshaping the retail experience for urban cyclists, it boasts an efficient yet engaging look and feel.

With a minimal color palette throughout, and sleek metal fixtures lining the walls, Figure3 had to find a way to utilize creative and efficient solutions to accommodate the space’s limited square footage. By working directly with the fixture manufacturer, the design teams came up with custom racks allowing for streamlined inventory; paired with dedicated signage, customers can easily identify products.

Two hero towers were placed between fixtures to highlight unique bikes and demonstrations available in store. While most of the product is kept against the walls in the narrow space, the repair shop in back is situated in a more open space, engaging shoppers and creating a bit of retail theater.
