Westfield Knox is set to open its $355 million redevelopment with elevated fashion and lifestyle retail offerings on June 8.

The project includes a full-sized NBL basketball court, a nature-inspired outdoor kids’ play space, a 2000sqm library, and a swimming school concept featuring a 25-metre pool along with seating areas for families to dine.

The centre will accommodate 20 new and returning retailers across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, youth and homewares brands such as Decjuba, Forever New, JB Hi-Fi, Gorman, Factorie, Asics, Rebel, Kathmandu, Trek Bikes, YD, KK Pilates and Moon & Spoon.

Westfield Knox centre manager, Kristian Nicholls said the mall is preparing for the next stage of development in just a few weeks’ time.

“This next phase of the development is a significant milestone in the broader transformation and takes us one step closer to delivering a world-class retail social and lifestyle destination for Melbourne’s East.”

A new parking management system fitted with license plate recognition and guidance technology has been installed along with amenities including a ‘calm room’ on Level 1 and all-gender restroom facilities on Level 2.
