Pop Mart (Beijing) has opened its first store in Ohio, in the Kenwood Towne Centre mall in suburban Cincinnati, The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. The retailer sells several lines of plush toys, including Labubu, a much-sought-after monkey-like creature with serrated teeth. Pop Mart – which was named to the “disrupters” category within the latest Time 100 Most Influential Companies for the “ugly-cute” collectibles frenzy it helped create – operates 500-plus stores worldwide.
