Almost four in ten consumers regularly receive parcels they forget they’ve ordered

Almost four in ten (37%) of UK adults regularly receive a parcel that they don’t remember ordering until opening it, according to a new survey by myfavouritevouchercodes.co.uk. A further 15% admit they have, at least once in the past year, received a parcel they don’t remember ordering because they did so while drunk. Clothing (25%) and home accessories (17%) topped the drunken purchases with customers spending on average £45.

Asda trials doorstep returns from George and other retailers for grocery customers

Asda is trialling doorstep parcel returns, allowing customers in nearly 50 locations to return parcels from George.com as well as more than 100 UK retailers, when they receive their regular grocery delivery. In the trial, which begins this month, customers simply hand back any unwanted items they may have to an Asda home shopping driver when accepting a grocery order.
