Micky Onvural will begin her role as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for TIAA on January 24.

Bonobos CEO Micky Onvural has tendered her resignation after leading the brand for five years, reports WWD. She shared news of the move on in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday titled “Finding Purpose.”

“When I took the job at Bonobos to be the Chief Marketing Officer back in late 2016, I took a leap of faith. I moved my family to New York to work in an industry I had no experience in, but from my very first conversations it was clear to me that there was magic in the Bonobos DNA.  Little did I know where that leap of faith would take me – to become the CEO in late 2018 – and little did I know what we would be able to create together,” she wrote.

COO/CFO David Sasson will lead the organization until Onvural’s successor is named. She leaves Bonobos to join TIAA, the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America, as CMO.
