Jewelry Sales Increased Sharply in July, Survey Finds

U.S. jewelry sales were up sharply in July compared to the same month in 2020 as well as in 2019, according to Mastercard SpendingPulse. The growth was part of a larger trend in which retail sales overall grew for the 11th consecutive month. Jewelry sales were up 82.6 percent compared with July 2020, according to the survey. They were up 54.2 percent versus July 2019.
