Primark at Macerich’s Kings Plaza – New York

Macerich (Santa Monica, Calif.) is planning to bring Primark (London) stores to New York’s Green Acres Mall and Tysons Corner Center in Virginia, according to a company press release.

Macerich is currently the brand’s landlord in six of its U.S. stores (there are 12 total), including the newly announced locations. The other four are located at Freehold Raceway Mall in New Jersey, Kings Plaza in New York, Danbury Fair Mall in Connecticut and Fashion District Philadelphia.

Both new stores will be two levels and the location moving into Green Acres Mall will replace the former JCPenney anchor spot.

Primark’s Group Property Director, Tom Meager, says, “We are delighted to confirm our Tysons Corner Center and Green Acres Mall lease signings as part of our ambitious growth strategy in the United States. We’ve seen a great reaction to our latest U.S. openings and are excited to bring Primark’s unique formula of Amazing Fashion at Amazing Prices to more customers in new locations throughout the U.S.”
