Belgian chocolate brand Godiva has opened its first Canberra store, which features a wide range of premium chocolates, beverages and biscuits.

The brand also revealed its plans to open additional stores in major cities in Australia over the next two years while also focusing on enhancing its online presence.

Located in Canberra Centre, the new store boasts a curated retail section to optimise the customer experience and has a dedicated cafe section where patrons can enjoy soft ice cream and Godiva’s hot chocolate.

“The choice to open our first Godiva store in Canberra was driven by the city’s thriving retail scene and the demand for premium products,” said Haley Koo, Godiva’s national retail manager.

“Canberra boasts a sophisticated food culture, and we are confident that our European chocolates will captivate the discerning palates of the local community.”

To celebrate the launch of the Canberra store, Godiva has planned an array of events throughout the year, including seasonal product launches and exclusive promotions.
