Australian beauty retailer Mecca has expanded overseas launching its own-brand sunscreen products on a new UK website.

The company’s multipurpose SPF cream, which is manufactured in Australia, will be sold online for £35 (A$66).

According to WWD, Mecca is debuting in the market with its To Save Face sunscreen since “SPF is becoming a category with quite a lot of momentum behind it” and is also one of the brand’s most successful products.

Established in 1997 by Jo Horgan, the company sells a range of curated makeup, skincare, fragrance, hair & body care products from global luxe brands.

It operates more than 100 stores throughout Australia and New Zealand and has a small retail presence on China’s TMall.
