Intended to receive Belgium brands and independent designer and artists, the former Taschen bookstore is characterized by its industrial aesthetic, this being the starting point of the space design, by Marco Rocha.
Rocha worked the space in terms of set design and retail strategy by using an eclectic mix of Belgian materials and suppliers, namely textile surfaces and a mix of furniture both from vintage and contemporary independent brands.
With his work, Rocha brings a scenography of material warmth and understated luxury, characterized by an ethereal aesthetic of textures, light and acoustic comfort, preserving at the same time, the contrasting aesthetics of the industrial look and feel of the pre-existence.
