British luxury watch brand Bremont has opened a store in Melbourne’s Collins Street luxury precinct.

The store, at 292 Collins Street, is located inside the Block Arcade, known for its history and architectural style and stocks the brand’s watch collections and accessories, including limited-edition lines.

The boutique features a bespoke bar amid displays that highlight Bremont’s DNA, and a Martin-Baker ejection seat, a tribute to the company’s testing program.

“Australia is renowned for its adventurous spirit and passion for an outdoor lifestyle, both of which are synonymous with the Bremont brand,” said Davide Cerrato, CEO.

“The new boutique on Collins Street is the perfect location for Bremont to further engage with watch enthusiasts and the wider adventure and endurance community whilst welcoming our existing customer base. Bremont has a very strong military and aviation following in Australia and we look forward to transcending this space as we look to further build awareness for the brand amongst a wider audience.”

He said the launch reflects the brand’s expansion which is a response to growing demand in the region. As such, a larger and more prominent site was required to better serve Bremont’s Australian clients.

The new store opens after the brand received an impressive $84 million investment earlier this year from renowned American investor Bill Ackman and his affiliate, who purchased a significant minority interest in the company alongside Hellcat LP, Bremont’s long-standing lead investor.

The new funding comes just two years after Bremont opened its 3250sqm state-of-the-art manufacturing and technology centre, dubbed ‘The Wing,’ in Henley-on-Thames, in the UK.
