Giant Eagle (Pittsburgh, Pa.) will become the first U.S. grocery and c-store chain to accept payments via PayPal and Venmo, reports WPXI. The new forms of payment can be used at the retailer’s 474 supermarket and GetGo stores.

To pay, shoppers simply open the PayPal or Venmo app on their mobile device, select “Scan” and then “Show to Pay.” They can also use Venmo QR codes to pay using a stored debit or credit card, bank draft or Venmo balance.

Technology partner Blackhawk Network is assisting with the integration.
