The Spitalfields Estate welcomes 11 new brands following the unveiling of its relaunch after over 18 months of renovations. The units will be located on the reimagined Market Street and Lamb Street in the heart of the historic London market.

NEW RETAILERS ON MARKET STREET

  • Astrid & Miyu – has just opened its largest store in London on 6 Market Street. At 1,227 square feet, the shop will feature the brand’s first double welding bar and three piercing studios. Astrid + Miyu is a contemporary jewellery brand known for its stack and style pieces. Much like all of Astrid & Miyu’s locations, the new Spitalfields store is a playground for jewellery lovers,housing the brand’s complete line of stackable jewellery as well as their iconic and much beloved experiential shopping services including onsite piercings, tattoos and weldings.
  • Rains – the outdoor lifestyle brand that offers a selection of wet-weather outerwear and bags will open in August.
  • Kill The Cat – is expanding to its second location on 14 Market Street in mid July. Offering craft beers from all over the world, the 830 square feet bar, kitchen and bottle shop is the place to visit for independent beer lovers.

Spitalfields Estate also has been inviting emerging creative brands to take over available units for a pop-up residency. This month, raye the store is hosting a summer pop-up on 8 Market Street. raye’s newest retail space houses 60+ emerging food, drinks and wellness brands giving customers the chance to discover the latest innovations through their retail offering and immersive in-store events.

LAMB STREET FOOD HUB

The deliciously exciting collective of independent food brands introduces eight new vendors, some which are entering the UK market for the first time:

  • Pizza Guys – serving authentic Italian pizza in London. By the friends behind Italy’s pizza phenomenon who are now launching their first ever branch in the UK and opening mid-July
  • Rudies Jerk Shack – serving authentic Jamaican Jerk Shacks
  • Dos Mas Tacos – serving seasonal Mexican tacos
  • Ebby’s Kitchen – serving homemade Turkish street food
  • Duck Truck – serving duck wraps and burgers in their first permanent, not-on-wheels space
  • Smokoloko – serving smoked barbeque in their first permanent, not-on-wheels space
  • Wicked Fish – serving seafood, burgers and hot dogs
  • I-Thai – serving Thai street food classics in their first permanent, not-on-wheels space

Spitalfields will continue to be the home for over 90 independent traders at Spitalfields Traders Market, offering contemporary and vintage fashion, music, jewellery and accessories (open every day), as well as the Arts Market in Crispin Place, supporting both up-and-coming and established local artists (open Friday – Sunday).
