Waxology’s Seattle Studio Defined by Warm Woods, Botanical Touches

The store recently opened in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood

LOCATED IN SEATTLE’S South Lake Union neighborhood, this new location for boutique waxing studio Waxology (Everett, Wash.) strives to promote natural beauty and encourages clients to form genuine relationships with its estheticians. The studio, which opened last March, offers a wide range of services within its 2595-square-foot interior.

Best Practice Architecture (Seattle) collaborated with Waxology to create a warm and inviting space for its guests. In addition to utilizing the building’s natural light, the design team incorporated pastel colors and custom, warm wood cabinetry to create a calming environment. Waxology’s products are on display around the boutique, and comfortable seating alongside a variety of live plants fill the area where guests can relax before appointments. Just behind the lounge area, a large mural displaying different leaves and greenery adds a vibrant pop of color to the entire space.
