A Store San Miguel

A store in San Miguel was a collaboration with Mexican fashion designer Alex Medina.
The space was designed in an attempt to create a flexible space that would focus on the products in exhibition, so we went for black on black.

Using the modularity of the concrete pavers, we created a flexible space that can continuously change depending on what is being exhibited.

More than just a store, we see ourselves as a dynamic, ever-changing gallery of design objects you can use on yourself and in your home / office.

Crioll Studio

For our first home and living collection here in México, COLLECTION 2020, we gathered some of our favorite Mexican contemporary design brands, and added them to the brands we brought with us from Europe, most of them Danish, and created our first international curation of Scandinavian + Mexican contemporary design.

Among the Danish brands you can find are: Menu, Normann Cph, Ferm Living, Muuto, ByLassen… mixed with our favourite pieces from Mexican designers: Casaquieta, Encrudo, Onora, Casa Mineral, among a few others….

A store is normally set up as a store or better yet, design gallery, with a collection that will be changing through the different seasons of the year, curation done by us + Alex . But it is also a space that is pretended for temporary exhibitions and pop ups, like the one we did for Gucci at the end of 2019.

This year we are hoping for more pop up shops and interesting events and exhibitions in the heart of San Miguel let’s just hope we are out there soon.
