Lunson Mitchenall, the UK’s leading specialist retail and leisure agent, has been appointed by RivingtonHark as leasing agents on Victoria Leeds. Acting on a joint agency basis with HDH and Central Retail, Lunson Mitchenall’s brief will cover retail, F&B leasing, and lease advisory across the estate, which is comprised of the Victoria Quarter shopping arcades, Victoria Gate shopping centre, and the mixed use Wrays Building.

Spread over some 625,000 sq ft, Victoria Leeds is one of the North’s premier retail destinations, with a premium tenant mix not found elsewhere in the UK outside of London. The Victoria Leeds estate, which was purchased in February 2022, is asset managed by RivingtonHark on behalf of funds which they strategically manage. The asset, which features a blend of the highest quality old and new architecture, is anchored by Yorkshire’s only John Lewis at one end with Harvey Nichols at the other. Other brands include Louis Vuitton, Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith, The White Company. Hackett, and Peloton together with an array of prestigious jewellers including Boodles and Rolex.

Neil Hockin, Head of Shopping Centre Leasing at Lunson Mitchenall, said: “We’re delighted to have received this instruction from RivingtonHark for Victoria Leeds. The estate already provides a unique shopping experience, both in terms of its design and occupiers, and we’re looking forward to working together with RivingtonHark, HDH and Central Retail to continue to build upon the centre’s fantastic offering.”

Rob Hadfield, Director at RivingtonHark, commented: “This instruction to Lunson Mitchenall represents another important step in our overall strategy for Victoria Leeds, which is to bring greater animation to the estate alongside evolving the tenant mix with additional top-quality retail and F&B; the latter a key area of focus for the estate. Over the last 12 months new openings at Victoria Leeds have included Boodles, Kurt Geiger, Carvela, L’Occitane, Castle Fine Art, Cubitts and Molton Brown. Moreover, we are excited to be opening The Ivy Asia and The Cut & Craft in October. We are delighted to welcome Lunson Mitchenall to the team and look forward to working together to enhance the destinations quality and to continue to realise the huge further potential we believe the estate holds over the long term.”
