Zagg, a global retailer of electronic device accessories, has opened its first store in Australia, marking the first step in an expansion strategy in the Apac region.

The new store is situated in the Macarthur Square shopping centre and sells goods from the Zagg brand portfolio, including Zagg, InvisibleShield, Gear4, Braven, and Mophie.

Customers can interact directly with product lines that are on display in the store, as well as the InvisibleShield On-Demand machine, which offers protection for any device of any size.

According to Zagg, the most typical smartphone damage – a damaged screen – is experienced by one-third of Australians. With the help of an in-store ISoD Machine, screen protectors are more widely available. It offers instant cut and applications of screen protection films for almost any device from InvisibleShield’s cloud base of more than 30,000 devices.

“We have been going from strength to strength within the Australian market and the launch of our new retail store in Sydney is a testament to that,” said Ross McInnes, director of sales for Apac.

“Our team is ready to connect and build relationships with our local community.”

Zagg is a global brand providing accessories and technologies that empower mobile lifestyles such as screen protection, power management solutions and mobile keyboards. The company operates in China, Ireland, the UK, and the US.
