Trans-Tasman retailer Strandbags has launched a new travel lifestyle brand called Nere.

The new brand will release two seasonal fashion-inspired ranges each year, including travel bags, suitcases and accessories.

Felicity McGahan, group CEO at Strandbags, described the new brand as a “key milestone” in modernising Strandbags’ travel offer.

“We saw the opportunity to take our already successful Flylite travel brand and re-imagine it to become a travel lifestyle brand, suitable for today’s modern traveller,” she said.

The current range comprises four collections: Stori, a suitcase in black and on-trend colours; Wonda, a gliding case, Caype dubbed a “feminine case” with rose gold accents; and Mono Floral and Canvas made from sturdy cotton canvas.

The range also includes luggage tags, foldable totes, duffles, packing cubes and backpacks. All the collections will be sold through Strandbags’ stores and its website.
