Pasta Plant rolls out protein-rich range

Pasta brand Pasta Plant is launching two “superfood” non-wheat pastas to “help consumers eat healthily without compromising on taste or texture”.

Proactive and Proper pastas will be available from 1 September in 180g packs, retailing at £3.99.

Proactive Pasta has been created for people with “particularly active lifestyles” and contains 64g of protein and 14g of carbohydrates per 100g and zero sugar.

Prosper Pasta is the “perfect base for a low carb, healthy meal” and has 44g protein and 32g of carbohydrates per 100g, and contains a mix of vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients.
