Mosaic Brands launches training academy to help staff skill up

Mosaic Brands, owner and operator of the Noni B, Millers, Rivers, Katies, Autograph, Rockmans, beme, W.Lane and Crossroads brands, is launching a nationwide training academy to help its employees gain the skills necessary to succeed in retail.

The Mosaic Academy will begin this April, function through the group’s online learning platform, and will focus on retail service, sales and management.

The company hopes to offer traineeships to over 350 of its team members in the first 12 months of the academy’s operation, which will give staff the opportunity to gain a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Retail.

“Our Mosaic Academy programme is about offering our team the opportunity to inspire and motivate each other while gaining new skills, no matter where they are located, or if they’re part-time or permanent,” said Mosaic Brands’ chief executive Scott Evans.

“Our investment in the academy means on-the-job training and development can be delivered across one of the largest fashion retail networks in Australia simply and efficiently [and] is a way of recognising and developing the exceptional talent we have within the organisation, along with attracting new team members to our brands.”

The retail certificates, which are specifically tailored to Mosaic Brands, are a nationally-recognised qualification.
