sugawaradaisuke architects designed a gift shop in jingumae, tokyo, for ‘louis vuitton &’ taking shape as vivid pops of color. the store is part of the exhibition — which celebrates the brand’s 160-year history journey of creative exchanges and artistic collaborations — while due to its color palette, becomes itself an installation piece. the interior is completed with multiple-shaped stands penetrated from dense cylindric metal pillars providing visitors with a feeling of strolling through a vast forest. vivid pops of color + shiny pillars form sugawaradaisuke's store in tokyo for louis vuitton all images  © louis vuitton / daici ano

the bright dominant colors make the shop stand out, while the reflective flooring and ceiling add vibrant tints to the spatial layout. apart from the shiny columns, sugawaradaisuke architects included colorful eye-catching volumes to expand the depth of the interior. the design takes its cue from a bamboo forest inviting people to enjoy the brand’s products.vivid pops of color + shiny pillars form sugawaradaisuke's store in tokyo for louis vuitton
