Britvic is rolling out new clear bottles for its Fruit Shoot brand, made from 100% recycled plastic.

The bottles also feature a new design, supported by a new formulation across the range, including 275ml bottles (69p) and 4x200ml (£2) and 8x200ml (£3) packs in Orange, Apple & Blackcurrant, Summer Fruits and Apple flavours.

Britvic found that eight out of 10 parents said they would trust Frit Shoot more if it was packaged in a clear bottle and three-quarters of parents said it showed Fruit Shoot was more natural than they thought.

Phil Sanders, out-of-home commercial director at Britvic, said: “The kids’ drinks category is performing extremely well with double digit growth (22%).

“It is therefore an optimal time for us to bring Fruit Shoot to the forefront on shelves and in chillers, with updated bottles, packaging and a reformulated liquid.

“With the transition occurring across singles and multipacks, parents will have peace of mind, both in terms of sustainability and health, when picking up Fruit Shoot for their kids to drink at home.”
