Reflecting pool centres XC273 fashion boutique in former Shanghai towel factory

Set across three floors, the XC273 retail space houses designer showrooms and pop-ups alongside a small cafe, as well as providing spaces for temporary exhibitions and events. The building is organised around three voids, which now form the basis of the store's circulation routes.

Issey Miyake store in Osaka is splashed with water-themed details

The store, monikered Issey Miyake Semba , is shortlisted in the large retail interior category of the 2020 Dezeen Awards. Japanese designer Shingo Noma created the interiors to reference Osaka's long history of maritime trade – the city's port has been in operation since before the year 300 AD.

Collective installs stage in New York ONS Clothing store

An asphalt ramp replaced the existing wheelchair lift to create an accessible pathway from the street into the storefront and to the rear of the space where the studio has constructed a large stage. Collective is a studio that practices architecture, interiors and exhibition design founded in 2015.
