The news came as the category shortlists for multiple retailers and company-owned stores were unveiled today.

Meanwhile, the Co-op and One Stop are in the running for the title of Convenience Retailer of the Year.

It follows the release of the independent and symbol/franchise shortlist yesterday.

Judging for the awards was completed last week, with dozens of retailers and industry experts scrutinising hundreds of top-quality entries to determine the ‘best of the best’.

See below for the full list of multiple and company-owned contenders.

Winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on 21 September at the Brewery, Chiswell Street, in the City of London.
